What to prepare

  • Clear identity and authority to act.
  • Evidence of capability, product, process or IP.
  • Ownership and related-party information.
  • The customer problem you intend to solve.
  • Budget, time, production capacity and risk constraints.

Minimum output

Every stage produces a record with scope, assumptions, evidence, accountable owner, decision, status and next step. Without the record, the stage is not complete.

The right to stop

A product thesis may stop when evidence is insufficient, ownership is unclear, economics are weak, compliance is unresolved or risk exceeds the agreed threshold. Stopping at the right time is a valuable result.
